  • Grindavík: A charming fishing village located on the southwestern coast. It has a rich history dating back to the settlement period of Iceland. The village is known for its fishing industry and proximity to several geothermal areas.
  • Blue Lagoon: A stunning geothermal spa. It is located in the middle of a moss-covered lava field. World-renowned for its beauty and healing properties.
  • Gunnuhver: A geothermal area on the southwestern coast. It is named after a ghost named Gunna, who was said to have been trapped in a hot spring by a local pastor. The area features several mud pools and popular steam vents with tourists.
  • Reykjanesviti Lighthouse: Located on the southwestern tip of the Reykjanes Peninsula, this lighthouse was built in 1907 and is one of Iceland’s oldest lighthouses. It stands 31 meters tall and stands in stunning contrast to the surrounding landscape.

The driver was friendly and knowledgeable, and he showed me some nice places that I enjoyed. He also recommended some things to do that were fun and not too hard, like walking to a waterfall, relaxing in a hot spring, and seeing the northern lights. The taxi was clean and cosy, and had everything I needed. It was a nice trip and I am happy I booked with them.
